Mixing Brands Between drums and pedals.
Alot of my friends and I have different pedal and stand brands from our drumset. I kinda decided to completely opposite line of pedals from my drums. I use tama roadpro single bass pedal, roadpro high hat stand, and one roadpro boom stand, but I use Pearl drums. Does anyone like to use different brand of pedals from their drum brand? and what do u think about this? i was just curious. It really had nothing to do with performance, more of just being unique i guess cuz i'm sure the pearl pedals probably work just as fine if not better.

I don't worry about brands when it comes to hardware. I play Medicine Man, Mapex, Sonor, Saluda, Zildjian, Sabian, Gibralter, Tama, Axis, Pearl, Evans, Remo, whatever works.
Oh yeah, forgot Premier.

I use yamaha, spaun, tama, gibraltar, roc-n-soc, sabian, saluda, paiste, zildjian, wuhan, istanbul, pro mark, vic firth, and evans.
I have yamaha and spaun drums, but all tama and giblraltar hardware. It's what I like and use. I could go with nothing but yamaha for drums and pedals but that wouldn't be any fun.

I used tp have a wide variety, but when I ordered my new set it came with everything but the cymbals and the stool. So now I use Pearl, Zildjian and Gibralter.

Its like being sposored in snowboarding. Oakley goggles, burton board and pants, Etnies hats and gloves. dont matter what you have for gear, long as it works....my set is still a complete set from 1980 though. All old gear. it works though!
Lil sabian, gibralter and Rogers, some zildjian here and there.

My set is made up of pearl, gibraltar, premier, mapex and tama hardware... Like the other guys - I figure as long as it works, I'll use it. Most of my hardware is about 15 or so years old and still holding up even with playing out quite a bit as of recent.

I use DW and Dixon stands with pearl pedals. On sonor drums. Im not fussy though. If it holds a cymbal and doesn't fall over then i don't mind what the brand is.

My hardware is all Pearl (except for the cowbell/jam block stand which I'm pretty sure is Gibraltar); it all came with the kit and I haven't invested in more stuff yet.
