yes i'm a newby. here trying to help out and learn more, ive just got my first drum kit even though i've been playing for a while.
i just want to show my first video. i'm not very fond of it but i might as well put it up here.
i was testing out the video and sound quality of a phones camera - IT WAS RUBBISH, as you can clearly see and hear. its a random solo i thought up on the spot and doesn't really show much about how i can play.
i think my kit may sound a bit dodgy as well, tell me what you think (just leave a comment.)
i'll be posting all my video links here from now on.

well, i'm not new any more, but i got a new video.
it's quite hard to play slow as some of you may know and some of my fil;ls fit bad but oh well. bring on the critism (and praise if you feel like it).
oh by the way it's still processing so it won't show up for a short while, but come back later and watch it pleeeaaase.

Over-all it's pretty good. Your fill timing is what needs work, but your timing while you're just playing is pretty good. Make sure you relax and breathe through your fills.
Aside from that, that pattern is screaming for some ghost notes. Here are two more ideas for you, put another kick note on either the "a" of 2 or the "e" of 4 of every other measure. That changes it from a one measure pattern to a two measure phrase. Then, play around with those three patterns and see what you get.
