I actually love your setup, and that cymbal looks really good too! You look happy with it in the first pic:P

whats the size? and is it a crash or ride? cause i use my 21" medium ride as a crash cymbal, and i also use my 22" heavy ride(both meinl) for a crash! lol

haha seriously, people say that on other meesage boards and stuff. they're like, WHY THE HELL IS YOUR RACK TOM WAY OVER THERE?!?! YOU'RE STUPID.
i just like it there! isn't that what drumming's about anyways, doing YOUR thing?
ahem.
yeah it's the 22" heavy ride. i use it for crash riding.
hey bodiesablaze805, how's the 22" lasting for you? are you a pretty heavy hitter? people told me i would just break this thing but i guess that remains to be seen. i don't think i will.

actually, i am a VERY heavy hitter. that is why i bought meinl, the 22" is amazing and it should last you like....forever! i also kinda use it as a crash/ride!

maybe i'm just used to playing hard, but i didn't feel like i had to hit it like, ridiculously hard to get it to open up.
i hope it does last me forever. i recently discovered a crack in my 20" z custom projection crash, which is a TANK, but i blame the fact that it's so stinking THICK. the vibration really has nowhere to go.
it turns out all the people claiming i'd break it fast all have tried the MEDIUM rides, not the heavy, so that could be the cause of that.
are you saying long arms cause of my setup? i really don't like having everything all tight, cockpit style. i love when a drumset can look bigger or more intimidating than it really is, and i think my set looks pretty big and wide for being a 4 peice, and having everything where it is really forces me to keep my chops in shape. all the space really allows me to move around when i play as well, which is super important to me.
do you guys know anyone who's tried a 24" medium ride? i really want one of those as well.
