Thinking about getting a new kit. Looking at DW, but trying to find a price list on them is next to impossible. Does anyone know what a bare bone 5 piece set would go for? Also what about PDP sets?

You could look at the DW Kitbuilder (you should be able to find it on the front page of their site) and build what you're looking for, then get a quote. DW's themselves are damn expensive, whether custom made or just sitting at guitar center. If you don't want to spend $3000+, I'd go with a PDP, a majority of their sets are high quality and sound great. The only downside (but perhaps not a downside for you) is that they tend to come in fusion sizes only.
