Wow, Awesome kit. All I got to say is get some new hi-hats to match up to all those other cymbals. Other then that. Amazing

Thanks dude. HHX Evolution hats are on their way someday.
On a side note, how did my pics show up in here? All I did was provide a link to another drummer forum where I had uploaded the pics too. Thanks to whoever or whatever did it I posted a link to pics of my new snare, I hope those show up the same way too

Well you see, there's this DML fairy that will come and upload your drum pics for you when you are too lazy. She's really cool about it.
Jokes. Anyway nice drums! That wrap looks brilliant! Bet it sounds great too.
Enjoy the Acrolite btw, it's like the most recorded snare ever. Definitely says something about it's sound right?

Haha thanks man! The acrolite, what can I say but... WOW! This thing is amazing, I don't that I'll be changing main snares for a long time. The sound is uncomparable to any other snare, I can't wait to record with it!

That things an export? I don't understand how pearl offers these beautiful finishes for the export kits and yet when I choose the color for my ECX (export custom, which is right below the masters series) I'm choosing from 4 or 5 different colors. I wanted some badass burst or fade or something crazy like this kid has. Not that i don't like the lava red I got. It looks great. but it doesnt look like a sun-set or have black hardware or anything.
Sorry for my rant. Awesome kit, and a really nice setup. I'm sure your acrolite sounds amazing as well. I use a supraphonic as my main sane, which is kind of like the "big brother" of the acrolite and I love it. Aso I'm guessing that finish is a wrap?
and since you dont use your tom mount on your bass drum, why not get rid of it and cover it up with this for a nice sleek look

Thanks man. Some people think Pearl's strata export wraps are fugly, but I love this one. And sorry about the ECX, now that they've been discontinued along with all other exports. Yeah, see I got the acrolite for free so i won't complain. All I had to do was buy new heads and wires for it. And about the tom mount, I sometimes gig with a downsized kit, and I use the tom mount for a 1 up setup. On my new MCX that's comin though, I'll be gettin a virgin kick.
Thanks again.

Haha, a beautiful kit has been presented for you to feast your eyes on, and thats all you can say. You're no drummer!
But he does have a bit of a point. Rack restrictions, or just comfortable like that? To each his own thought, yeah

These are "older" pics. Since then, I've moved them in quite a bit, and everything feels snug now. Not that it wasn't comfortable before. I was shooting to bring everything on the kit, not just the floors, closer in towards me.
