im 14 and been playin for almost a year started back in 2007 lol

Interest started at 6...first used drum set 8... first new equipment 12 so...30 years from time of interest, 28 years from first kit, 24 years with full kit and bands. Peace on ya!

i started at about age 8... but didn't really know anything... literally... about drums. just how to play basic rock beats.
so im gonna count whenI got my kit at the moment of when I started. I got it on my 13th birthday so about 8 months properly.

There was always a set of drums set up in our house. My Dad was a gigging drummer and he was my main influence. At around 4 I was able to sit on the edge of the throne and reach the floor.
I'm 50 now...it's hard to believe.

I'm 20, going on 21 in 6 months. I've been playing since I was about 3-4 years old. My dad bought me a 4 piece kit when I was 4 after I sparked an interest in drums. He showed me a couple basic beats and a couple fills, gave me a pair of headphones, some cds and tapes to jam to, and turned me loose. Rest was practice, practice, practice and hours upon hours of jamming to/learning from tapes and cd's.
