Old Sound FOrge

I have Sound Forge 6.0 and was hoping I could use it along with Cubase LE. Am I a dreamer or can this happen? I haven't used Cubase yet, but I'm hoping I can somehow mix the two (eg. record a track save it, use sound forge, save it and continue this method)
