oh yeah? i really dont like the longboards, not because of feel but i guess you have to upkeep them alot and my friend just bought one and it fell apart on him,
but i wanna get the BOA's becuase i love the way they are constructed!

+1
I've been wanting them for a while now and I think that in the next couple months I will try to sell my cobras and get a pair of these b.o.a.'s. I know that sarcasmsetyourhouseonfire has a single and swears by it, and I've played around on a single for a long time at my local store and can't get enough of it. Plus, they are completely different and unknown by many which makes me want them even more.

i've had my B.O.A. for about a year.
previous pedal was a DW9000... before that a 5000...
i've always played nice pedals...
and the B.O.A. is the greatest pedal i've ever owned.
there are very few things i will so openly sing the praises of sans endorsement, but these things are really that great...
especially for the $

Oooh.
I tried some out at Steve's here in Montreal, and holy shit.
AWESOME!
Absolutely silent, smooth and fast as hell. Blacked out, looks like a farkin' DB ninja ready to take on the heaviest blasters.
The footboard (which is also the spring) is actually thicker than you'd think. Definitely not breakable at all.
The direct drive feels smooth and responsive. It like sticks to your foot, reacting to every twitch and nuance.
The Hardcore (?) beaters are cool too, foam around a plastic core. With a soft touch it's like felt, but once you slam it, you get the warmth and boom of felt with the attack of plastic.
Wonderful level of workmanship, high quality, built like tanks.
Slightly wider than normal base-plate.
B.O.A. single costs about as much as an Axis, or Trick single.
All-around, I know for sure that is the pedal I want.
...on a side note, I've discovered that P.D.P makes some damn good hardware, their stand are great, and my two-legged hi-hat stand is AWESOME and affordable.

I wouldn't mind having a try of these pedals. I know Marco Minneman uses them. I saw him at a clinic last year and man did he fly.
