Has anyone heard anything about PDP's new drum series, platinum. they look really nice and seem to be a step up for PDP. I'm interested in possibly purchasing one of these sets but I haven't seen them on any major stores websites or in stores. Any info would be great....

They appear to be what DW was in the early part of the decade. The prices are right in line with that anyway. As far anything else, all I know is what's on their site.

wow they looked pretty solid, i'm impressed. i'm glad they are making something different from the other kits. this series and the new boa pedals have both impressed me. looks like PDP is going in the right direction.
