I've been considering upgrading my I.S.S mounts to Optimounts.
I love I.S.S mounts because they're easy to take on & off, but I don't like the way they pinch the rim and the head together.
The optimounts attach to the lugs and don't touch the rim....
My goal is to get the maximum resonance out of the toms

anyone out there had experience with these mounts?? are they worth the investment?

OptiMounts are far and above better than ISS mounts. I've seen a lot of bent hoops from heavy hitters who use ISS mounts.

I can't tell you if it's worth a few hundred to upgrade though. Only you can make that call. However, they do come on the Masters series...
