I refuse to believe that out of 4,000+ drummers on this forum not one of you knows anything about the pearl ultracast snare drum

I know some drummers who love them. A friend of mine uses one (I just heard her play two weeks ago) and it sounds very good.

I had one for a while, but it was not my favorite. I can't remember it well enough to give you a good review though. Sorry. My son got it (ultracast) from me, then he took my Dennis Chambers signature snare (one of my favorites) and that's what he plays. The ultracast is relegated to his backup snare.

It is the 5" or 5.5" depth.
