I wish I could play all of them for awhile so I could answer that question..I luv my Iron Cobras, but I do belive DW 5000s are great if you can't make up your mind..I had the chance to play a bit on a pedal (DW 5000) that Jeff Campitelli (drummer for Joe Satriani) had brought with him to do a workshop for a few of us...It was super smooth..I'm not sure if his was modified, but I don't think so..!!

A friend of mine worked at Guitar center and let me come in and try every double they had on a kit.. forgetting brand name and basing my decision on feel only, it came down to iron cobras or yamaha flying dragon.. after messing with them for about an hour.. i played the best on the Flying dragon.. i loved it ever since.. you just have to see what feels best for you..don't buy any until you feel totally comfortable.. i bought a pedal before that i ended up hating and was miserable til i had to drop another 300 bucks different ones.

I play eliminators personally. Axis, DW, and Iron Cobras have always intrigued me, though...

In my opinion, the best double pedal is the one that your feet like. My feet like DW5000, DW9000, and the Pearl Eliminator with red cam. I've been playing a DW5000 single for four or five years.
