Went to a drum shop today and they had 5 amazing pedals set up.... ill tell you what im thinkin of them. (they are all singles)
1. DW9000 - Extremely smooth, superbly made and beasty. I reckon that it is wayy too good and smooth... no control or feel to it. It is just too perfect, but did feel heavy when the board came back up.
2. DW5000 (accelerator model) - amazing, its got the perfect balance (for me) of pretty much anything, the quality is suprising... its a good allrounder.
3. Iron cobra (w/cobracoil) - just as smooth as the DW9000, good attack and i love the feeling the coil gives the foot board. The spring squeaked tho :S.
4. Pearl eliminator ( i dont know the modal) - i couldnt tell the difference between the DW5000 and this, it felt "weaker" than the 5000 though. I wasnt attracted to this.
5. Axis longboard - By far the best feeling pedal, but along with the worst hittin price tag. It was a longboard edition so it was good for heel toe. If i could afford it, i would buy it.
All in all, its just "my two cents" on some of the main higher ended single pedals, my vote goes for the DW5000 taking everything into account... otherwise it would be the axis
