 New Serpents Ride
Anyone have an experience with the new Byzance Serpents Ride? It looked kinda cool on the website, but the sound sample seemed bad and it turned me off. Then I found out Derek Roddy plays it and when I heard him play it, it sounder way better. So, any feedback?

 Re: New Serpents Ride
well first off, dont pay attention to a ride cymbal recorded. they tweek the pitch and sound of the ride cymbal to fit their kinda music. which sometimes makes me wonder why they would get a certain ride cymbal if they dont like the sound. but again, producers have a lot to do with controlling rides etc. I like rides you dont have to adjust. the meinl mb20 metal ride is incredible, as is the soundcasters.

 Re: New Serpents Ride
Yeah it sounded really dry and airy on their website and I really didn't like it
