 Trigger I/O or DM5
I'm looking for a module just for my bass drum so should I go with the alesis trigger i/o or the dm5? Does the trigger i/o do everything i would need to trigger my bass fully and effectively? Or is there something better.

How bout yamaha dtxpress? Or a product from Roland? The trigger I/O requires a computer with sampling capabilities via software provided with the I/O.

Oh ok so the it isn't a stand alone thing like the dtxpress. Which do you recommend the most?

The DTXpress is a great module for the money with tons of useful features . Also it's nice to have an on board "click" too . Some pretty good deals usually on ebay on them . Rolands TD6 is pretty good too , but the DTXpress usually sells for about 1/2 of what the TD6 does on there .

I have a DTXpress and would recommend it. If you purchase one, private message me and I'll help you with whatever you need.
