 15" or 20" crash
i want a new crash, and i was debating between a 20" crash or a 15" crash. heres my crash list as of now
16" Zildjian Avedis 17" saluda mist X 18" sabian xs20 19" paiste rude 3000 crash/ride
so yall think i should get a 15" or 20" and i was wondering if i should get mist X or eathworks? i play 80's rock/metal.

20"
I've always had better experiences with bigger crashes, and I like the sound more. Just don't get a heavier weight, get something in the medium or medium-thin weight. As for earthworks or mist x, I really have no preference

I suggest the 20 I noticed that once you get to crash sizes below 16" they start to sound like hi hats.

Yeah if you keep em heavy, got to get em thin to sound like a crash imo. back on topic what do you want a crash/ride or more of a accent crash?

 Re: 15" or 20" crash
one a little deeper then my paiste 19" rude 3000 crash/ride one that i can crash on when i play heavier songs and use as just a fill crash. if that makes sence.

 Re: 15" or 20" crash
then you want a 20 inch. i wouldn't suggest going over a medium-thin at that size because I feel they sound more like a ride being crashed if they are plus this will make a sick alt ride.
