I'm about to buy new heads for my entry drum kit because personally, I feel that the heads are totally crap.

So this is what's on my list so far:

12" Evans EC2 Coated (Tom)
13" Evans EC2 Coated (Tom)
14" Remo Emperor Coated (Snare)
22" Evans EMAD2 Clear Batter Head (Bass)

I'm keeping the stock bottom head

What do u guys think? (my kit is a yamaha gigmaker btw)

I don't have any experience with the Evans EC2 heads, but I can tell you that the Emad is killer, that's a good buy. I would suggest a Remo Coated Ambassador on snare, but that's totally personal preference.

sounds good. I still use my pearl stock resos on my set. they sound fine

thats my toms exactly but for snare i use 13" Evans G2 Coated.

emads also are great on bass drums, i use that too.
