 rip?
i really think this is a rip http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Sonor-Giant-Step-Middle-Pedal?sku=449557 .
like it says in the review, for half the price of this pedal you could go buy another bass drum and a really good single pedal..

yeah, that is just so much money. I guess having 2 slave pedals makes them both feel the same. But is 2 slaves really the answer?

i think it's more for people that have limited space.... or don't want to angle their kick with a double pedal.
either way, it's a huge rip.
seriously... i could build a drum set for the cost of that pedal... without skimping on anything.

wow, that's really expensive. I'm not all that much into Sonor's pedals. I wonder if they're that expensive in Germany relative to everything else?

"Even if it turns out not as useful as I thought it might be, I will eventually try it, own it and experiment with it, as soon as they retrieve the price from PLUTO, where it has apparently been launched."
funniest quote i read in the plethora of bad reviews on the MF site.

It's a nice idea, but I can't see it being worth anywhere near $1300. Hell, for that you, could get a "normal" top-of-the-line double pedal and still have $600-$700 left over.

personally i think the problem everyone is missing about many of these double kits is that they are too simple! why not have a spring on each side of the beater? and an adjustable everything!

you can get the original design Offset Pedal for around $300.
It's still kind of a weird design, though. Mine is sitting on the shelf these days.
