scratches on the tom holder

hey guys, i just scratched my black tom holders a few days ago, and i notice that there's rust on the scratched areas.

Just wondering, will the rusting affect the durability and life of the tom holder in the long run??

Nope. Just spray on a little WD-40 every now and again. That will help stave off the rust.
