Describe how you tune your snare, what your snare is, how it is set up, heads, hoops, wires, depth, the whole nine yards.
How is your bass set up?

This thread will probably face horrible ridicule, like my Pearl sensitone question. Read the sensitone thread and follow directions. I got some help from it, it worked (what was advised).

Your kick and snare are probably tuned the same or its the acoustics in the room. my snares usually buzz when they are in my practise room but when I played in a concert hall the buzz was completely eliminated. same thing when I played outdoors too.

You have to watch how they resonate together. I often get a similar thing from my bass drum and floor tom. I don't pretend to know much about soundwaves and all that but I assume that the drums are tuned at similar pitches or frequencies or something I find a bit of experimentation often can get rid of this, also check the tension on your snare wires as this can cause buzz.

what he says is true, i practise with my bands in my front room, but play by myself mostly in my practise/cloak room. and man do i look forward to that band practise, the buzz irritates me sooo much.
