Can anyone tell me what kind of snare he is using there?!?

Or can anyone tell me what i need to get that snare sound?

EDIT - you get a good look at it at about 36 seconds in.

I couldn't stand to listen to that.

I probably would've broken my computer if I didn't turn it off when I did.

I'd say 13x6 or something..It has an insanely high-pitched crack to it, but it still sounds kinda fat...

I found the amazing part about the whole video is that no one threw anything at the "band."

i completely agree. I remember telling someone once that I was in a metal band...their first question was "who is your screamer?" and i had to explain that I played a different kind of metal. i agree with the ploughman's first sentiments. that band sucks.

I'm usually not one to knock shit like that. but seriously, bands these days are taking the concept of abrasive noise to far. Technically it is music, but there is absolutely nothing musical about it.
