Are you kidding? maybe. who knows? I don't think a huge amount of folks in this town would appreciate my kind of music. My influences are a very wide range of genres, mostly centering on the progressve rock/metal side. Dream Theater is my favorite band, but I don't want to sound like them. I'm shooting for something in between Dream Theater and Spock's Beard. Ever heard of a band called Transatlantic? They're really close to what I'm shooting for. Basically any project that Mike Portnoy is involved with, I'm going to be into, and try to recreate somewhat. But the main difference is that I don't use any guitars in my work. What you hear is my keyboard, run through a guitar effects pedal. I think it provides for a unique sound altogether, and that's what I want. It's something different.
