 Tama Starclassic Bubinga
Hi, am new here and just wanted to introduce my new Tama Starclassic Bubinga kit in Scorched Copper Burst. I just fell in love with the finish. I have two other drums on the way, a 14 x 12 floor tom and a 14 x 5 1/2 Bubinga snare. Please pardon the clutter in the room and the quality of the pictures, they were done very quickly.
Thanks,
Dennis

Beautiful! But this should be in the "Show Us Your Kit!" section.

Sorry, like I said I'm new here. I'll know better next time. All I saw was acoustic drums and drum sets, I didn't scroll down far enough. BTW, I'm computer illiterate and not a very good speller.

No prob. The mods will probably move it. I love you kit though! Do you play a lot of jazz? I noticed you have your snare tilted forward.

In fact I play a little of everything except metal. Actually thats the way my father arranged his snare, so I've been doing the exact same thing for over forty five years now. I mostly play rock, big band, and jazz with a little of everything else thrown in. I also find tilting the snare forward a bit really helps with the rim shots.
