 tell me what you think
I saw a few "critique my drumming" posts and thought it was a great way t get ppls oppinions on your playing as well as pointers. I just recently recorded a demo with my band and i just wanted to know what people thought of my drumming and if they had any poiter for me or anything. this is the only forum where i almost feel like we have a big family, so respond and dont be shy our myspace page is www.myspace.com/thebrotherhoodny

oh man im hurtin for you on those slow blasts...great stuff very fitting and musical and not constant double bass buttrock..im very pleased very tight and aggressive stuff in Poseidons horror...pretty solid blasts and dbl bass in cold blooded whore whole not whoring the double bass to much ... could use a bit of work on the dbl bass and blasts (no offense) just seems a bit off sometimes...you have great drum sounds i must say..double bass in perfection is much better btw...your band is awesome, definitely something i would listen to if you guys had cds out and such...oh and i just went on ur myspace..amazing drumset you have and its awesome to see you skatebrd as well!! keep it metal your doing great!

yeah man, those slow blasts are rough. I tottally agree with you on the double bass being bit off at certain points, i wasnt exactly playing my best during that recording and my stool was spinning every time i did a double bass roll. but all in all im happy with it. I do wish certain things were picked up better in the mic though

fast, im not a fan of this style of music or drumming so i dont really the technicality of it. but fast and sounds pretty solid none the less. i'd say good drumming for what it is. not a fan of the cookie monster singer though.
