 The inspiration that this board has given me
Heya all
Since being given the illustrious honor of "Member of the Year" that inspired me to create my own forum.

For years I had dreamed of having a place for San Diego musicians to hang their hat, kibitz about the state of the local scene, just have a way to communicate amongst ourselves. It was with the inspiration of being MOTY that goaded me to create this forum.
Anyhow, I just thought I'd share that. Thanks to all of you for being inspirational to me.  I try to return the favor whenever I can.
Alden, I got a place saved for you up there so go sign up.
Conversely, if you are working as a musician in and around San Diego, I welcome you to go and sign up.

Yeah it's for working musicians in San Diego. Not a "union" per se, but "Unity".

I'm gonna try. This year looks real busy. I have to be back out on the road in June so maybe if gigs are payin' OK.

I may be down there with a band called "Stars on the Water", a Jimmy Buffett Tribute band. I don't know when because I get called for that gig only very seldom but still they hit me from time to time.
