Thinking about a change to Meinl. Just wondering what you meinl users are playing, what you recommend for a good rock sound etc.

Been playing A Customs.

SoundCaster crashes sound very similar to A custom crashes. They are slightly brighter making them better IMO.

Right now, I'm using MB10 bell blast ride, 10 inch byzance splash, 17 and 18 inch soundcaster crashes, and I'm planning on getting the soundcaster soundwave high hats.

But yeah, MB20, MB10, Soundcaster, and Byzance are all top of the line stuff. Oh and the sound samples on the meinl site are pretty accurate.

My mentor switched from A customs to Meinl, and has no regrets. Plus I think he said Meinl carries a two year warrantee over Zildjians' one. You might want to wait until after DRT, so you can at least give some Saludas their day in court.
