Looks a bit weird to me. And actually I can't imagine it sound good. But to be honest I'd like to play it and prove myself wrong Wink

ocdp makes a lot of "volcano" snares with a 13" top/14" bottom...definately a cool concept that id like to try.

More than likely a classic example of "Form vs Function." Aesthetics are one thing, but how practical is a drum like that?

it looks like the hats Devo used to wear. seeing that snare makes me wanna hear "whip it". but it doesnt make me wanna buy a drum that looks like that.

wow weird! itd be cool to have a snare where you could add on layers at will to change the sound!
