x - yeah the setup for the pics is a little spread out. i haven't invested in a hi-hat attachment yet, but moving between the hi-hat and the left bass drum isn't all that difficult

nice set up. if it works for you and you like it, it's all good
I know I like to play w/my pedals (hh and l-bd) right next to each other so I would say the same thing...just looks very farrrrrr to be going back and forth.
