I was getting my pa's old apallo kit out to re tune and play and i was changing the drum head. seems it warped the shell and rim...if i try and get a new one on with out breaking it wont it re warp to the new rim?

a warped drums is a warped drum and can only be replaced. not fixed. if you do get the head and rim on you're gonna have a horrible time trying to get it to tune or stay in tune.

yeah, you definitely don't have a normal drum anymore. BUT! as drummers go, it might be used to get a unique sound. I'd experiment with it and see what weird sounds you can actually get with it. Accidents and things out of the norm often facilitate invention! Yeah, I know, I'm just one of those guys who hate to throw away anything.
