Post Weird cymbal behaviour
My primary crash keeps turning itself around and the pitch changes when its upside down(logos upside down).
Anybody else had this problem and what causes it.
I'm thinking its the cymbal sleeves or the felts.

Do you mean that its inverting or just spinning around? If it has been used for a long time then it could just sound different because one side is all bent up and the other isn't. I know my splash is bent weird and it sounds different when you hit it in different spots.

iti is normal for it to move. unless you tighten it really good. and yes, maybe a side is slightly bent and that's why it sounds different.

Check your sleeves. They wear after time and will gouge. Replace them soon to avois keyholing your cymbals. Peace on ya!

Good point, also check your felts. Sometimes they compress more on the side towards you due to cymbal weight and motion. Then when they spin you get a lop-sided effect. Also don't want to tilt your cymbals too much, they weight of it can cause wear on the mounting hole.
