What cymbal should I go for next???
The ones I use on my kit at the moment are:
14" K custom Hi-Hats
16" A custom Crash
16" Dark K custom Crash
20" A custom ping Ride
My style of music is more rock based stuff, however I would like it to be quite versatile to adapt to others styles if need be.
Any Thoughts? Preferably stick with Zildjian because i've tried a few and I get on better with Zildjians.

I've got an 18" Sabian Hand Hammered Dark Crash for sale in the Classifieds section. For what I'm asking for it, IF you didn't like it you could easily resell it for more than you paid for it.

We have quite similar setups cymbal-wise, only that I have a 22" ride (I wish I had a 20" though). You could always get a splash, they're great as accents and I actually use mine as a crash too because it's quite loud!

You should get a 16'' and a 18'' crash instead of both 16''. I'd say get the A Custom crash cuz they're awesome.

You already have 2 crashes. get a splash or a china. having an accent cymbal on your kit can really spice up your playing

Cheers Eml, What splash do you use, because I need something quite heavy dutie otherwise they'll crack!!!
I did go through a faze using Meinl Classics and those splash's always cracked on me!
My 20" Ping ride is awesome, I most certainly recommend them.

You could go for accents/effects cymbals like a chinnese, or another bigger and darker crash, or a different ride... it really depends about your needs, your playing styles and your aspirations as a musician. If you want to spacialize in a certain style, get cymbals that work for that style. If you want to be known as a versatile drummer, then get cymbals that could work for most styles or situations.
It's good to have a pingy ride with clear definition, but it is also good to have one with more spread and crash qualities, or different hihat option to choose from. If you can't afford the luxury of having many cymbals, then you should focus on having some few versatile pies that could work on as many situations as possible.
My advise is to test your cymbals and search for that missing voice.

Wuhan chinas are killer sounding and cheap as hell.
I've never tried a K custom crash. How do those compare to "regular" K crashes? I have a couple K Thin Dark Crashes sitting around. I use one of those along with a Sabian Vault with rivets for my crash and crash/ride respectively.
