What is the Heaviset pair of stickes you own?
For me, it would be a pair of bright red solid aluminum sticks. Each stick is pushing about 10 ounces.

Vic Firth Metal line...lord knows why I have them. I think I bought them when I first started drumming and I was intrigued by the name. I use them on my practice pad.
Good thread. Need to buy some heavier sticks for practice actually. Saved me the trouble

I have a pair of Regal Tip Regal Corp 2000 sticks that I use a lot when I practice rudiments. As big as those sticks are, I can get a pretty fast even single stroke role going. The weight really works your fingers so I use them a lot while following along with the Jojo Mayer instructional DVD I have.

I'm a big fan of finding the right weight that is in congruence with your hand size and using just that. No less, no more.

Got rid of big sticks, didn't like em, even for endurance building. Pro-mark 808 or 747rock for me.

Those ahead sticks. They're way too heavy for me.
