Man, I stop to have dinner and bam can't reply to posts any more. Well I guess the "Metal Hater" will respond here instead. First I don't hate Metal. Just not sure it's music. I like some classic metal. More melodies. Any one remember Iron Maiden. I know that stuff is wimpy compared to modern metal and hard core but listen, there is a song. Bet I can't play metal??? Oh yeah. How much?? I'm probably not as good as the pros and I'm sure my feet don't have the BPM's to touch the good hard core guys but I practice every day so there is not a single tool in the drum box I don't posses. I don't play Straight Jazz anymore either but it paid for music school till I dropped out. One thing I love about metal is it keeps the music stores busy. Oh and something about me never making it out of Denver. What's wrong with Denver. Beautiful place really. Got 300 days of sunshine. Some of the best skiiing in the world. Least fat state. Lots of great never make it out of Denver Metal bands. May be you have heard of Planes Mistaken For Stars. I know those dudes. Who knows may be one day I'll make it out. No matter what I'll be back. Now that everyone under 25 has got their Metal studded underwear in a bunch lighten-up. I'm just having a little fun. Every time some one posts something that makes you unconfortable you don't have to call for the moderator to sensor it. Is this America or what shogun warrior. And what do you care your not a metal head.

When you come into our little sandbox and have kind of an attitude like "hey fuck you you suck....No man I'm just messin' with you....I'm KIDDING....." Well, I guess you found out what happens.

We are a pretty tight knit menagerie around here. No one is excessively uptight but we also don't suffer cavalier attitudes very readily. Got some video of your playing? Post it up here and show the group who you are. After all, this is a drumming group.

Participate on our level and not that of someone who "throws peanuts from the balcony". We have a few people in here whom given the opportunity, will break your arm off and bludgeon you with the stumpy end.

i am in to all kinds of music. i don't have a problem one bit with metal, but i prefer to listen to more "musical music". that is not meaning i dislike metal. i like metal fine and have played it many times. but i take music as a whole. i love a variety of music, and pick out the bits of what i like and thats kinda my style.

i completely hate people that defensive about unimportant things. u say one bit of input on double bass, or technique, and you have a bunch of guys like "YO WTF MAN?!?! YOU NO LIKE METAL?! YOU ARE GAY AND I HOPE YOUR SOUL WILL BURN!!!"

that is why most of the problems about metal begins. from the half retarded metal-heads that start crap and act super hardcore.
