For pedals I've tried I have to say Iron Cobra but for the pedal I really want I would say Axis!

Axis, just the best, smoothest way to transfer what your feet do to the drum*.

I put down the B.O.A. The fastest smoothest double pedal I have ever encountered. Just amazing. It's what I'm saving up for to replace my 5002.

I have the pdp boas and even with only a little bit of playing on them, they are great. the tricks are also phenomenal pedals. axis didn't do a whole lot for me but it may have just been duba's adjustments. drumnetics are cool and feel quite good too. 9000s are smooth but I haven't really been able to play them. iron cobras and elims tie imo. 5000s feel horrible.
that's my assessment. however, I urge everyone to play what feels best to them and makes them want to play. for me, the boas do that. amazing feeling pedals.

yeah, it's weird, I've heard a lot of people complain about the 5000's, but they've always felt good to me.

I play Dubs but over the weekend had the chance to check out Drumnetics (awesome), Trick, B.O.A. and Axis. The most comfortable that I played over the weekend was the Axis. I was able to play stuff I have never played on my Dubs. P.O.Y!

I was a little surprised to see some these results so far. I've heard so much about Axis on these forums, I thought for sure they would have had a larger following. That, and so far, no one has voted for the Eliminators by Pearl. With a price tag like that I would have thought they had to be somebody's favorites...
I haven't had the pleasure of trying out the Axis pedals yet, but I'm quite pleased with my Tama IC's. I marked them down as my favorite.
Axis 11% ( 2 )
Trick 5% ( 1 )
DW 16% ( 3 )
Pearl Eliminator 0% ( 0 )
PDP B.O.A. 38% ( 7 )
Tama Iron Cobra 22% ( 4 )
Other Brand 5% ( 1 )

My DW5000 has never let me down and I use my ankle to play the pedal instead of relying on the pedal to play the drum. For the price of some of these gimmicks, they better play the gig and pack themselves up afterwards.

B.O.A. !!!
B.O.A. !!!
B.O.A. !!!
it's been about a year since i bought mine and i love it more every day.
the only complaints i have are:
1.) for a pedal in this price range it should really come with a carrying case / bag like the 9000s, cobras or eliminators...
2.) they've yet to make a lefty version of the double pedal.
