 which one?
iv'e been looking for that perfect new kit, so i have been doing a lot of topics about all the sets iv'e been thinking about buying. so this another one.
i really like these two sets
gretsch club rock http://www.wwbw.com/Gretsch-Drums-Club-Rock-5-Piece-Drum-Set-CCR665-i334410.music
ddrum dominion 26 http://www.wwbw.com/Product/Product.aspx?sku=227213
I just need to know if anyone has played either of them, and if there was any problems.

I have recently fallen in love with the DDrum line. I'm goin for the Diablo myself which I'll kind of customize to fit my needs. I haven't played Gretsch. The Dominion is an awesome line. I especially love what you get for the $. Good luck

I think you be fine playing a 26. They say they are slower but it never slowed me down.

I really don't like 26" kicks, but hey if that's what you want, Gretch and DDrum make some good kits that I hear about. Never played on a DDrum kit though.

They are both great kits but the ddrums come with a laquer finish. I would also see about building your own ddrum kit, I didn't like the huge sizes of the toms but wanted the 26" bass drum. Then I got some hardware from you musicians friend and all my pacific 900series cymbal stands from Samash. You should still fall under 1k buying this way. My ddrum shell pack was only $450 for 26", 12", 16" and snare. Don't forget the ddrum kit will need new heads as soon as you get it, same with the gretch kit.

I'd go with the gretsch, bro... it's a time tested and trusted name,..... though I have never owned either kit,......played a couple gretsch, played no ddrums
