Lombardo, hands down. He's done way more in driving the art of Double-Bass Drumming than Joey will ever hope to achieve.

Lombardo probably influenced Joey. I would like to see both of them do more than single strokes.

true lambardo probably did influence joey, but you pointed out the main reason i don't like lombardo, everything he plays in slayer is single strokes, and fairly basic beats if i'm honest. Joey knows more bout music and can play other styles of music not just metal. i prefered paul bostophs stuff with slayer (god hates us all album) some of the drumming is really out there and experimental.

lombardo can play other styles too...look for his stuff outside of slayer.

Bostoph. Oh, what was that the question? Ooops. Seriously, both are good, but neither the best.

Exactly. Look for his work with Fantomas, and Grip Inc. Lombardo by FARRR over Joey. Watch Lombardo's clinic stuff too.
