i know those pedals are some of the best on the market, but i've always thought they looked cheap and toy-like.
congrats though!

Actually these are the biggest strongest and beefiest pedals ive ever seen. The DW9000's are something to laugh at next to a set of these.

that's the crazy thing about pedals; it's all about personal preference and tweaking~ I had the exact opposite experience with DW 9002s and my Axis A's- it's the DWs that feel clunky to me. Weird, innit?
congrats, HP- nice score. Hope you love them as much as I enjoy mine.
I've heard a lot of people complain about the looks, but they get results!
where'd you get yours?

i've played the single (i'm a lefty and axis doesn't deal with lefty pedals) and they're great.
i just think they look cheap and shitty.
if i were a non-drummer and saw an axis pedal, i would think the person was playing an entry level piece of gear.
they almost look home made.

????Again thats a dumb statement but
I got them off of eaby for 330 and ive put my DW beaters in em from my 7000's and i played them today and i was amazed at how responsive they were. I know it takes a bit of time to get back to top speed but i have faith these will clean me up a bit at high high speeds and overall they feel great!

thanks. glad i could make a dumb statement.
you seem to be missing the point.
the pedals are great. it's cool you got them.
their design, on the other hand, definitely takes some getting use to as they do not look like any other pedal on the market.
i'm not giving you shit for buying one. it's a smart move.
you can't argue with the fact that they don't look like a normal, status quo bass drum pedal.
